Nordhaven

From EUO Manual

This is the town that any new character will start in and where most players are bound to. The resurrection circle is in the south-east corner of town. In the center of town, there is a well that many people hang around at to chat. Nordhaven is also the home of the museum. There is also a cemetery, the entrance to the The Sewers and the Thieves' Guild.

Location

Western hemisphere of New Sosaria. Co-ordinates 30' 42".

Fun Facts

A map of the old 'Nordhausen' with Egg's tower as the central feature.

• Nordhaven was once called "Nordhausen" (named after a German town plucked randomly from an atlas), but it's name was changed once it became known that "Nordhausen" was also the location of a Nazi concentration camp during WW2.
• Egg used to have a tower in the middle of the town (where the well now is). Although the doors were locked, anyone who managed to get into there would fall through a trap door to an unescapable pit.
