Review: Sleepy Hollow

Tim Burton directed this Washington Irving's tale of a headless horseman who hunts country town people and collects their heads :). It is set in Old America (actually filmed in England i heard) and follows the investigation by Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp) who doesn't believe the myth and trys to solve the case logically. He meets Katrina Van Tassel (Big Booby chick Christina Ricci hmm) and gets all lovey dovey puke puke.

I really enjoyed this flick not only because I'm a fan of Mr.Burton (check Nightmare before Christmas) but i just don't think anyone could have done a better job with this film on the big screen . The film itself is quite dark and misty and at times very bloody and gorey (but tasteful - yum) . If you are into decapitation or don't mind seeing a few heads rolling this is a good late night movie to catch. There is no huge special effects and is quite plain 3 tacos for its modest tale telling.

I'd give it 3 and 3/4 tacos (rounded up to 4 i spose) - it just felt good, if u know what I mean. Johnny Depp rocks. I don't know if he rocks all the time, but he rocks in this one. Christina BIG BOOBS Ricci is overrated in my opinion. The dutchman who is the headless horseman is boss. The guy who played Bruce Willis's father in Pulp Fiction is perfect in this - I can't remember his name. Top shit.

The Face of the horseman may have been that due who played Willis's father in Pulp, but did ya know who swung those swords around. Ya favorite sith lord Mr Ray Park, he made the film worth watching.
